Style & Approach
My style is very much documentary focussed however I also love to get involved when the time feels right. In my opinion, striking the correct balance between the two is what gives you an absolutely incredible gallery which is ready to be enjoyed for years, decades, and even centuries to come. For example, during the ceremony or first look, these are moments I like to capture what's naturally happening. I like to be in the background minimising distraction, capturing those natural feelings. But when it comes to confetti? I'll be out there making sure everyone is hyped and vibing, ready to give you a big cheer as you walk out for the first time!
There are many roles of a wedding photographer on your big day but for me it's all down to the storytelling! My goal is always to create a set of pictures which allow you to relive the big moments, small moments and likely, the moments you missed within all the madness.

My Story
As mentioned above, I live in the Cotswolds which places me so close to many amazing venues such as Pauntley Court, Stone Barn, Old Gore, Elmore Court & Tortworth Court (among so many more) but I'm not originally from here! I actually grew up in the North East of England which is where my photography passion found its spark.
From the age of around 13, I picked up my first camera, photographing walks, landscapes and the family pets. This is probably also where I found my love for the outdoors. Living near hills and beaches was amazing and is something which is still part of my everyday drive for adventure! My cameras have been through the whole journey with me!
Weddings
I'll be honest, when a good friend of mine asked if I fancied joining him to shoot a wedding in 2019, I wasn't keen. The thought of stress, bridezillas, and the old fashioned photographers I had experienced before hand totally put me off. Despite my better judgement, I said yes and quite frankly never looked back! That day I smiled more than any other 'work' day of my life and immediately knew this was something special.
I love the realness of the day, see the connection of couples and guests. Capturing and being part of moments which will last a lifetime and beyond brings me so much purpose. What can I say... I'm just a hopeless romantic!
